Rain

As the saying goes 'be careful what you wish for, as you might get it'. It's been a heatwave all this week, and it was forecast that it would end this weekend or so. I was hoping for it get cooler, and thinking about cool showers while going home. That was when it started to rain, very heavy downpour that I had not been prepared for (certainly didn't bring a rain coat with me).

So I thought about that phrase and was amused, even though I was getting wet. I could have a chuckle about it, getting soaked after wanting a shower, though the lightning was a little scary (waited for it to pass before I carried on home).
